Sacker/Laborer/Operator Apprentice
We are currently seeking a motivated individual to join our team as a Sacker/Laborer. This is a physically demanding role that involves manual labor, including lifting up to 75 lbs, filling and stacking bags of fertilizer and sulfur, loading and unloading trucks, operating forklifts, performing industrial housekeeping, and other maintenance duties. The position requires the ability to work outdoors in all seasons.
Shifts:
MONDAY – FRIDAY (Some weekends required)
7 AM – 3 PM
3 PM- 11 PM
11 PM – 7 AM
*Must be willing to take any of these positions
Job Duties
– This position is predominantly manual labor and involves heavy and repetitive lifting.
– Filling and stacking bags of fertilizer/sulfur, loading/unloading trucks, operating forklift and similar equipment, industrial housekeeping, maintenance, ingredients transfer, quality control, and other related duties.
– Will include working alone and unsupervised for extended periods.
Job Requirements
– Must be able to lift 75 # or more.
– Must have a strong work ethic and the ability to focus on quality, listen well, and follow instructions. • Must have computer knowledge and have good interpersonal skills.
– The position is physically demanding, requiring the ability to climb ladders and work outdoors in all seasons.
– Must be willing to work some holidays.
– High school diploma, GPA > 3.0 • Sacker/Laborer position has an opportunity for advancement into more technical position with higher pay
