The Mobile Mechanic is responsible for providing on-site vehicle maintenance, diagnostics, and repair services at customer locations or offsite facilities. This role requires strong automotive knowledge, the ability to troubleshoot a variety of vehicle issues, and excellent customer service
skills. The ideal candidate is reliable, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently with minimal supervision.

Requirements
– Must pass pre-employment screening (background check and drug test if required)
– Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
– Must maintain a clean driving record

Job Duties

– Perform diagnostic assessments and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues on vehicles
– Conduct routine maintenance, including oil changes, tire rotations, brake services, and fluid checks
– Perform repairs and replacements on engines, transmissions, brakes, suspension, and other vehicle components
– Respond to service calls at customer locations or offsite sites in a timely manner
– Maintain accurate service records and communicate repair status to customers and management
– Maintain tools, equipment, and service vehicle in good working order
– Follow safety procedures and automotive repair standards at all times
– Provide excellent customer service, answering questions and explaining repairs clearly
– Collaborate with team members and management to coordinate service schedules and priorities

Job Requirements

Required Qualifications
– Minimum 3+ years of automotive repair experience (dealership or independent shop preferred)
– Strong knowledge of vehicle systems, diagnostics, and repair techniques
– Ability to operate diagnostic tools, hand tools, and power tools safely and efficiently
– Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
– Excellent customer service and communication skills
– Ability to work independently and manage a mobile service schedule
– Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record
– Reliable attendance and strong work ethic

Preferred Qualifications
– ASE Certification(s) or equivalent automotive certifications
– Experience with both domestic and foreign vehicles
– Experience with dealership service standards and procedures
– Experience performing mobile or field service repairs
– Basic computer skills for logging work orders and service documentation

Safety & Work Environment
– Work performed in customer driveways, parking lots, or offsite service locations
– Exposure to oil, grease, dust, and varying weather conditions
– Must follow proper lifting, safety, and protective equipment procedures
– Must remain aware of safety hazards when working in traffic areas or customer premises
