Advanced Employment is currently seeking 2–3 experienced cooks for a well-established restaurant located in beautiful Red Lodge, Montana. This is an excellent opportunity for cooks who enjoy working in a fast-paced kitchen environment while surrounded by the atmosphere and scenery of a full-service.
This position is ideal for individuals with previous restaurant, line cook, breakfast cook, prep cook, or high-volume kitchen experience who can work efficiently, stay organized under pressure, and maintain high food quality standards during busy service periods.
They offer flexibility for employees commuting from Billings or surrounding areas, including mileage reimbursement for commuters or housing accommodations available at the resort for qualifying employees.
Schedule Options
Multiple shifts are available depending on operational needs, including:
– Breakfast Shift – Starting as early as 6:30 AM
– Mid Shift – Starting around 10:00 AM
– Evening Shift – Starting around 3:00 PM
– Restaurant closes approximately 9:30 PM
Candidates should be flexible with scheduling, weekends, holidays, and peak tourism periods.
Housing & Travel Options
– Employees may commute from Billings or surrounding areas
– Mileage reimbursement available for qualifying commuters
– Housing accommodations may be available directly at the resort for employees interested in staying on-site

Job Duties
– Prepare and cook menu items according to restaurant recipes and standards
– Work various stations including grill, sauté, prep, fry, breakfast, or line service as needed
– Maintain food quality, consistency, and presentation standards
– Assist with food prep, portioning, stocking, and kitchen organization
– Ensure all food safety and sanitation standards are followed at all times
– Work efficiently during high-volume meal periods while maintaining attention to detail
– Communicate effectively with kitchen staff, servers, and management
– Assist with cleaning, closing duties, and maintaining organized workstations
– Monitor food inventory and notify management of shortages or product needs
– Help create a positive dining experience for resort guests and visitors
Job Requirements
– Previous cooking or line cook experience REQUIRED
– Experience in restaurants, resorts, hotels, high-volume kitchens, or hospitality environments preferred
– Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment
– Strong multitasking and time-management skills
– Ability to work independently and as part of a team
– Positive attitude and dependable attendance
– Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
– Ability to remain organized during busy service periods
– Ability to stand for long periods and work in a physically active kitchen environment
