Advanced Employment is currently seeking an experienced HVAC Installer for a well-established company specializing in HVAC, construction, and mechanical system installations throughout the Billings area.
This is a full-time opportunity for a highly motivated and experienced installer with a strong background in HVAC systems, construction environments, and electrical/mechanical troubleshooting. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience installing residential and/or commercial HVAC systems and be comfortable working independently as well as with installation crews on active job sites.
Candidates must have strong technical knowledge, reliable transportation, verifiable experience, and the ability to work efficiently in fast-paced construction and service environments.

The ideal candidate is someone who is motivated, professional, mechanically skilled, and comfortable working in both residential and commercial construction environments.
Candidates with strong HVAC installation backgrounds, electrical knowledge, ductwork experience, and construction experience are highly encouraged to apply.
Job Duties
– Install residential and commercial HVAC systems including furnaces, air conditioners, ventilation systems, ductwork, heat pumps, and related components
– Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, installation layouts, and job specifications
– Perform equipment installation according to manufacturer and company standards
– Assist with startup, testing, troubleshooting, and system adjustments
– Work with electrical wiring, controls, thermostats, and HVAC-related electrical components
– Install and assemble duct systems and ventilation components
– Ensure proper system functionality, airflow, and operational performance
– Communicate with supervisors, team members, and customers professionally on job site progress and installation needs
– Maintain organized job sites, tools, and materials
– Follow OSHA safety standards and company procedures at all times
– Load, unload, and transport tools, equipment, and materials as needed
– Assist with additional construction or installation tasks related to HVAC projects
Job Requirements
– Minimum 5 years of HVAC installation experience REQUIRED
– Previous construction and/or electrical experience strongly preferred
– Strong understanding of HVAC systems, tools, installation practices, and troubleshooting
– Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
– Mechanically inclined with strong problem-solving abilities
– Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship
– Ability to work independently and as part of a team
– Reliable attendance and strong work ethic REQUIRED
– Ability to work in physically demanding environments, including lifting, climbing, kneeling, and working in confined spaces as needed
– Strong communication and customer service skills preferred
Requirements
– Verifiable HVAC experience REQUIRED
– Valid driver’s license REQUIRED
– Clean driving record preferred
– Reliable transportation REQUIRED
– Ability to pass pre-employment screening
