We are seeking an experienced Tier 2 Computer Technician to join our team. This position is responsible for diagnosing, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining computer systems, networks, and related technology equipment. The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge, excellent problem-solving abilities, and the ability to provide professional support to end users in a fast-paced environment. This role requires previous hands-on IT support experience and the ability to independently resolve technical issues while maintaining a high level of customer service.

Job Duties

– Diagnose and troubleshoot desktop, laptop, printer, and network issues
– Install, configure, and maintain Windows operating systems and software
– Provide Tier 2 support for hardware, software, email, and connectivity issues
– Set up and deploy workstations, user accounts, and peripheral devices
– Troubleshoot network connectivity, VPN, Wi-Fi, and basic server-related issues
– Perform hardware repairs and component replacements
– Assist with system upgrades, backups, and preventative maintenance
– Document support tickets, resolutions, and techical procedures
– Escalate advanced technical issues when necessary
– Support both in-office and remote users !
– Maintain a professional attitude while assisting employees and customers
– Manage multiple support requests while meeting deadlines

Job Requirements

– Previous Tier 2 IT support experience required
– Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office
– Experience with Active Directory, Office 365, and remote desktop tools preferred
– Understanding of networking concepts including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and Wi-Fi troubleshooting
– Experience troubleshooting printers, workstations, and mobile devices
– Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks
– Excellent communication and customer service skills
– Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
– Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred
Preferred Experience:
– CompTIA At, Networkt, or similar certifications are a plus
– Experience with ticketing systems and remote support software
– Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices preferred
Physical Requirements:
– Ability to lift and move computer equipment up to 50 lbs
– Ability to sit, stand, bend, and work under desks or around equipment for extended periods
– Ably to work in a fast-paced technical environment
