Job Duties
– Serve customers in a professional and courteous manner
– Handle, prepare, and organize steel materials for processing
– Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently
– Stock and move materials throughout the warehouse and yard
– Perform general maintenance, housekeeping, and cleanup duties
– Assist with transferring, stacking, and loading steel products
Job Requirements
Physical Requirements:
– Frequently lift up to 50 lbs and occasionally up to 100 lbs
– Push and pull up to 80 lbs
– Ability to grip, squat, bend, climb, stand, walk, reach, transfer, stack, and load materials
– Work safely in varying weather conditions and moderate noise environments
Qualifications:
– Valid Driver’s License required
– Strong Customer service skills
– Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately
– Dependable with a strong work ethic and high integrity
– Ability to work independently on overnight shifts
– Stable employment history required (preferred longevity of 3-6 years with previous employers)
– Employment references and employment verification checks will be conducted
