Advanced Employment Services is seeking an experienced Hotel Housekeeper to join the housekeeping team at a busy hotel in Billings, Montana. This position is responsible for ensuring guest rooms and common areas are cleaned and maintained to the highest hospitality standards. The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, and takes pride in creating a clean, comfortable, and welcoming environment for every guest.

Applicants should have previous housekeeping or hotel cleaning experience and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining exceptional quality standards.

Job Duties

Guest Room Cleaning
– Clean and sanitize guest rooms according to hotel brand standards.
– Make and neatly prepare beds with fresh linens.
– Replace towels, washcloths, bath mats, and guest amenities.
– Vacuum carpets and mop hard surface flooring.
– Dust all furniture, fixtures, décor, and high-touch surfaces.
– Clean mirrors, windows, and glass surfaces.
– Empty trash and recycling containers.
– Clean and sanitize bathrooms, including:
– Toilets
– Showers
– Bathtubs
– Sinks
– Countertops
– Fixtures
– Restock toiletries, coffee supplies, cups, and other guest amenities.
– Inspect rooms to ensure everything is functioning properly before releasing the room for occupancy.

Public Area Cleaning
– Clean hotel lobbies, hallways, elevators, stairwells, and other common areas.
– Maintain clean entrances and public restrooms.
– Dust furniture, décor, and fixtures.
– Vacuum and mop public spaces as needed.
– Keep housekeeping storage areas clean and organized.

Laundry & Linen Responsibilities
– Collect soiled linens and towels.
– Deliver clean linens to housekeeping carts and storage areas.
– Assist with laundry duties when needed.
– Properly organize housekeeping supplies and inventory.

General Housekeeping Duties
– Maintain a fully stocked housekeeping cart throughout each shift.
– Report maintenance issues, damaged furnishings, or safety concerns to management promptly.
– Follow proper chemical handling and sanitation procedures.
– Ensure lost-and-found items are properly documented and turned in.
– Work efficiently to meet daily room assignment goals while maintaining quality standards.
– Provide friendly and professional interactions with hotel guests when necessary.
– Follow all hotel safety procedures and cleaning protocols.

Job Requirements

– Previous hotel housekeeping experience preferred.
– Experience cleaning multiple guest rooms during a shift.
– Strong attention to detail.
– Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
– Excellent organizational and time management skills.
– Dependable attendance and punctuality.
– Positive attitude and professional appearance.
– Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced hospitality environment.

Physical Requirements
– This position requires the ability to:
– Lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
– Push and pull fully loaded housekeeping carts.
– Stand and walk for extended periods.
– Frequently bend, kneel, squat, reach, and stretch throughout the workday.
– Perform repetitive cleaning motions for an entire shift.
– Work weekends, holidays, and varying shifts as required.

Requirements
– Previous housekeeping or hospitality cleaning experience required
– Reliable transportation to and from work.
– Ability to pass pre-employment screening.
– Strong employment history with verifiable references preferred.
– Ability to work weekends and holidays as scheduled.
