Hiring 2 Over-the-Road Drivers
We are seeking 2 experienced CDL-A Drivers with HazMat qualifications for oil delivery routes throughout Montana and Wyoming. Drivers will transport and deliver oil to customer locations and will be responsible for safely transferring product into customer tanks.
This position involves regular overnight travel and hands-on delivery work. Candidates must be comfortable with long driving days, physical work, and safely handling petroleum products.
Schedule
• Monday – Thursday
• Approximately 4:00 AM – 5:30 PM
• Drivers are typically gone 4 days and 3 nights
• Routes throughout Montana and Wyoming
• Overnight travel required
This is a hands-on CDL driving position, not strictly a drop-and-go delivery job. Drivers will be responsible for safely delivering and pumping oil into customer tanks, so we are looking for candidates who are dependable, safety-conscious, physically capable, and comfortable working independently on the road.
Job Duties
– Safely operate a CDL-A commercial vehicle throughout Montana and Wyoming
– Transport oil and petroleum products to customer locations
– Safely handle loads exceeding 1,000 lbs. of oil
– Use hand carts to move product as required
– Operate pumps and hoses to transfer oil into customer tanks
– Properly connect and disconnect pumping equipment
– Follow all procedures for the safe handling and transportation of petroleum products
– Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
– Secure loads and verify products before leaving for delivery
– Complete bills of lading, delivery tickets, logs, and other required documentation
– Maintain communication with dispatch regarding deliveries, delays, or concerns
– Follow all DOT, HazMat, company, and customer safety requirements
– Maintain a professional attitude when interacting with customers
Job Requirements
Valid CDL-A
HazMat endorsement/certification required
Acceptable driving record
Must meet applicable DOT requirements
Commercial driving experience strongly preferred
Must be comfortable driving extended routes throughout Montana and Wyoming
Must be able to safely use hand carts, hoses, pumps, and oil-delivery equipment
Must be physically capable of handling the demands of loading and delivering oil
Must be comfortable staying overnight 3 nights per week
Dependable attendance and strong safety awareness are required
Reliable transportation to and from the starting location
