We are seeking a dependable and physically capable CDL-B Delivery Driver to deliver automotive and truck batteries to customers throughout Montana and Wyoming. This is a hands-on delivery position that requires frequent heavy lifting in addition to commercial driving.
Travel: One overnight trip per week
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys driving but does not want to spend the entire day behind the wheel. This is a physical delivery position, and drivers will be responsible for handling and unloading heavy batteries at customer locations.
Job Duties
– Safely operate a commercial delivery truck on assigned routes.
– Deliver automotive, truck, and other heavy batteries to customer locations.
– Load and unload batteries throughout the workday.
– Perform frequent heavy lifting; candidates must be comfortable repeatedly handling heavy batteries.
– Complete scheduled deliveries throughout Billings, Bozeman, and Wyoming.
– Complete one overnight delivery route each week.
– Verify deliveries and ensure products are delivered to the correct customer/location.
– Maintain accurate delivery paperwork and records.
– Perform basic pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
– Follow all DOT regulations and company safety procedures.
– Maintain a professional attitude when interacting with customers.
– Keep the delivery vehicle organized and report any maintenance or safety concerns.
Job Requirements
– Valid Class B CDL.
– Acceptable driving record.
– Ability to safely perform frequent heavy lifting throughout the shift.
– Comfortable with highway driving and longer delivery routes.
– Must be available Tuesday through Friday, including one overnight trip each week.
– Dependable attendance and ability to stay on schedule are essential.
– Must be comfortable traveling throughout the Billings, Bozeman, and Wyoming service areas.
