We are seeking a dependable and motivated Cable Installer Technician to join our team. This position is responsible for installing, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining cable, internet, and communication systems for residential and/or commercial customers. Candidates should be comfortable working independently, traveling to job sites, and providing excellent customer service.

Job Duties
– Install cable, internet, telephone, and communication systems
– Run and terminate coax, CAT5/CAT6, and fiber optic cabling
– Mount and install equipment including routers, modems, wall jacks, and networkdevices
– Troubleshoot connectivity and signal issues
– Test systems and ensure proper functionality
– Read and interpret work orders, blueprints, and technical diagrams
– Climb ladders, work in attics, crawl spaces, and outdoors in varying weatherconditions
– Maintain tools, equipment, and company vehicle
– Communicate professionally with customers and supervisors
– Follow all safety procedures and company standards
Job Requirements
– Previous cable installation, low-voltage, telecommunications, or networking experience preferred
– Knowledge of cable systems, wiring, and hand tools
– Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently
– Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
– Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required
– Ability to lift 50+ Ibs and perform physical labor throughout the day
– Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces
– Reliable transportation and dependable attendance required
– Must be able to pass background check and drug screening
Preferred Qualifications
– Experience with fiber optic installation
– Networking or telecommunications certifications
– Experience using testing and diagnostic equipment
Work Environment
– Residential and commercial job sites
– Indoor and outdoor work in various weather conditions
– Physically demanding position involving climbing, lifting, bending, and kneeling
