We are seeking an experienced, dependable, and highly detail-oriented Finish Carpenter to join a professional construction team. This position requires someone who takes pride in producing clean, precise work and understands that the finishing details are what make a completed project stand out.
The ideal candidate will have previous finish carpentry or similar construction experience, be comfortable working independently when needed, and have the ability to measure, cut, install, and finish materials accurately. We are looking for someone who is professional in appearance, reliable, productive, and able to maintain high-quality standards without sacrificing efficiency.
This is not an entry-level general labor position. Candidates should have hands-on carpentry experience and a solid understanding of finish work.
Position Type: Skilled Trades / Carpentry
Compensation:
20.00–30.00 per hour DOE
Starting wage will be based on demonstrated finish carpentry experience, skill level, quality of workmanship, tool knowledge, and overall qualifications.

Job Duties
Responsibilities may include:
– Measure, cut, fit, and install finish carpentry materials with a high level of accuracy
– Install interior and exterior trim as required
– Install baseboards, casing, crown molding, and other decorative trim
– Install and adjust doors, door frames, jambs, and hardware
– Install window trim and other finish components
– Perform cabinet and millwork installation as assigned
– Complete detailed woodwork and finishing projects
– Make precise cuts, including miters, angles, and detailed finish cuts
– Read and accurately use tape measures and other measuring tools
– Follow measurements, plans, drawings, and job specifications
– Identify and correct gaps, uneven joints, poor fits, and other imperfections
– Perform minor repairs or adjustments to previously installed materials
– Sand, prepare, and finish materials when required
– Maintain straight, level, square, and properly aligned installations
– Protect finished surfaces and surrounding areas while completing work
– Keep tools, materials, and work areas clean and organized
– Properly maintain personal and company-provided tools and equipment
– Work efficiently while maintaining excellent craftsmanship
– Communicate professionally with supervisors, coworkers, contractors, and customers
– Follow all company and jobsite safety procedures
– Perform other carpentry and construction-related duties as assigned
Job Requirements
Candidates must:
– Have previous carpentry experience, preferably in finish carpentry
– Be extremely detail-oriented
– Take pride in producing clean, professional-quality work
– Be able to accurately read a tape measure
– Understand basic carpentry measurements and construction terminology
– Have experience using common hand and power tools
– Have their own basic carpentry tools
– Be able to work independently and as part of a crew
– Be dependable and report to work on time
– Be able to follow detailed instructions
– Have strong problem-solving skills
– Be professional and well-groomed in appearance
– Maintain a clean and professional presence on customer and contractor jobsites
– Be able to work at a steady and productive pace without sacrificing quality
– Be physically capable of performing construction and carpentry work throughout the workday
Tools
Applicants are expected to have their own basic hand tools necessary for finish carpentry. Access to additional carpentry tools is a plus.
Candidates should be comfortable using equipment such as:
• Tape measures
• Levels and squares
• Hammers
• Utility knives
• Drills and impact drivers
• Circular saws
• Miter saws
• Table saws
• Nail guns
• Sanders
• Other common carpentry and finish-work tools
Physical Requirements
This position requires the ability to:
• Stand, walk, bend, kneel, crouch, and reach for extended periods
• Frequently work from the floor, ladders, or other appropriate work platforms
• Lift and carry construction materials and tools
• Safely maneuver doors, trim, lumber, cabinetry, and other materials
• Perform repetitive measuring, cutting, fastening, and installation tasks
• Work in active construction and remodeling environments

– Due to the nature of the work and access to customer properties and jobsites, candidates with convictions involving theft, violence, or sexual offenses will not be considered for this position.
